Valley Airpark is a private residential fly-in community located in Cotter, Arkansas. It was established in 1974 to provide a unique lifestyle for pilots and aviation enthusiasts who want the convenience of living with their aircraft right at home. The community offers direct access to a private, 2,800-foot asphalt runway (61AR).

No, the airpark is a private community. The runway and facilities are for the exclusive use of residents and their invited guests. This ensures the safety and privacy of our community members.

Our runway (FAA Identifier: 61AR) is a private, 2,800-foot asphalt runway. It is well-maintained by the Valley Aero Association to provide a reliable and convenient landing and takeoff surface for residents.

As a private airpark, we operate under a set of community rules and procedures designed for safety and efficiency. We ask that pilots report their position on the designated unicom frequency (123.0) when three miles out and when in the traffic pattern. Specific traffic patterns and other information are available for members and interested visitors.
